Roller Derby round-up: everyone's doing it

So Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore were spotted at an LA Roller Derby tournament at the weekend. This makes sense, what with Drew directing Whip It, which is all about the beautiful game. The girl knows how to research.
And now news of a more local flavour filters through from our Roller Girl chums in Blighty, as the London Rollergirls take on their Glaswegian counterparts a week on Saturday (March 29), at the Tottenham Green Leisure Centre. We flag this up early as the last two bouts sold out quicker than you can say fractured tibia, but tickets for this skate spectacular are available from the Rollergirls' homepage.
For those of you not in close proximity to the big smoke, worry not - keep checking their site for details of national events. Meanwhile, the Lipster will see you down the front on the 29th.
