Well played, Sarah Jessica Parker

By Rebecca Nicholson

Maxim, now best known globally as that magazine which makes up its reviews, bestowed Sarah Jessica Parker with the 'Unsexist Woman Alive' honour last year. And she's got something to say about that.

"Do I have big fake boobs, Botox and big lips? No," she tells this week's Grazia (which, incidentally, also features your very own Lipster - check out the Hit List. Self-promotion over). "Do I fit some ideals and standards of some men writing in a men's magazine? Maybe not. Am I really the unsexiest woman in the world? Wow! It's kind of shocking... It's so brutal in a way, so filled with rage and anger."

She also explained how it upset her husband, Ferris Bueller: "It upset him, because it has to do with his judgement too. It's condemnation, it's insane. What can I do? I guess you can't please all people."

Our respect for SJP just went up a whole half-a-notch. Well played, lady. Now, if you readers would like to fight about whether Sex And The City is a force for good or evil again, please feel free.

Unsexy

What a relief that must be... now she can leave the house without make up or high heels because she isn't sexy anyway. Phew!
