Bands as ridiculously hip as Kap Bambino always put me slightly on edge, but despite their fash-pack associations (vocalist Caroline Martial is a promising young model and one of their tracks was recently used for an Armani store launch), this Bordeaux duo actually have the substance to back up their considerable style. The thrilling electronic ferocity of debut UK album, Zero Life, Night Vision, provides the initial proof, but it’s when playing live that Martial and laptop whizz Orion Bouvier really come into their own.
