A Short Announcement
Loyal readers. We at The Lipster will not be posting with as much frequency over the next few days. It's a long story, but buckle up...
Initially The Lipster was a funded project and a full-time job. This week we were told that all funding had been pulled and we were being made redundant.
But it's not all doom and gloom. The Lipster itself will continue to exist as an independent, not-for-profit site run by me and other volunteers in our spare time.
More news to come, but bear with us for the next few days while we get a few things sorted out.

Booo! I suspected something like this might happen after that announcement on DIS. Keep going, I think you're great.
Such a shame. I don't know where else we could go to get such smart, sardonic reports/opinions on musical news oddities. You better keep it going, yeah.
Don't be sad! I have faith that The Lipster will stick around :) Fight the Power and all that shizz, Watch credibility rise!
That's a real shame - but glad it's not the end for you. Can you bring back the weekly mag digest too? I miss its witty insights x

Late to comment as have been on holiday... Very sad to hear this, the site is really funny and definitely filled a niche in the UK music webspace. Best of luck Rebecca.
