Amy's how to cheat at cooking
Amy Winehouse's next album is apparently going to have a culinary theme, which may take the Alanis Morissette irony prize for this week, even though it's only Monday and we're barely awake yet.
According to the Mirror, one of the songs on her third album has lyrics which are a bit like Delia Smith. That is, if Delia forgot to brush her hair for a year, took lots of illegal sweeties and developed a penchant for southern fried goodness. Altogether now; 'I can cook, chicken soup, meatballs, a good chicken - jerk and fried.'
We think there may be a bit missing somewhere, as despite their claims that Amy is fond of impromptu cooking sessions (according to them, 'she used to pop into the kitchen of her favourite boozer, The Hawley Arms, grab some frozen mince and make meatballs for her pals') she doesn't look like a lady what spends a great deal of time down KFC. Though writing about food does strike us as a tiny bit more psychologically healthy than harking after The Worst Boyfriend In The World. Every cloud, etc.
You may not have heard this but apparently Prue Leith has gone head to head with Aim on the new NHS mentus. Apparently too, Aim is hot on health and safety.
