Lord Saint Sir Bono, you time is up - some wise, wise people have set up a charity dedicated to getting you out of public life.

It seems that the good folk of planet earth have had enough of the U2 mini-cowboy's proselytising ways, and have offered to give "a ton of money to fight AIDS" if he retires from public life.

Here is their objective:

To get Bono to retire from public life (so he'll stop leading misguided counter-productive philanthropy efforts) ....and, simultaneously.... to make a huge donation to fight AIDS.

Here is their 'pitch':

Bono’s philanthropy efforts are self-righteous, ineffective, & counter-productive.

So far $390 has been pledged, but come on, Lipster readers - this is surely a cause worth fighting for.
