Courtney & PJ Harvey's how to cheat at guitars

Courtney Love, noteworthy blogger and spell-check allergic, is here today on a teaching mission. Want to write a top rock smash? Why, you only need 5 chords, for which Courtney would like to thank PJ Harvey, after whom the 'Cheater chords' are named. In this spot, she also tells of how she once 'threw a compact at Kurt Loder, which happened to hit Madonna in the head.'
Talking to US-based Nylon magazine, Court waxes lyrical with someone they call 'Brit rocker' Dirty Harry. Apparently DH was once a mentor in a 'choir girl to rock chick' episode of Faking It and provided backing vocals to (yikes!) Tommy Lee. Hmn.
What is most interesting (and hopefully will be illuminated soon) is C-Love's comment that 'I could tell you a story about Brad Pitt....' - we rilly, rilly do need to know what this is.
You can also spy Courtney in this week's Grazia, where she credits her rather alarming weight-loss to self-promotin' spooky guru Paul McKenna. Stop the madness, etc.
