The rest of our chatterings with Drums of Death will be posted here tomorrow, and you can take it from us that it is LOLS-aplenty as he is a thoroughly illuminating and amusing cove.

But here is what he said about working with Peaches, having just spent a week with her in not-so sunny Berlin:

"I’ve been working with Peaches on her new stuff, doing a little half-hour mix for her label, as a little hype for her new record. I spent a week with her last week and she’s AMAZING. She’s the nicest person in the world – accommodating, an absolute gem of a human being."

So there is your first bit of news. Peaches: a nice lady, which is good to hear as she is often painted as a bit scary, what with being a lady who is forthright and such. But what, pray tell, do it sound like? Back to Mr Death:

"Her album’s gonna be great, four or five tracks have been produced by Simian Mobile Disco, who’ve gone for this whole Italo-disco thing, it’s killer! Peaches is singing, like, proper vocals. It’s beautiful, just great."

So there is your second bit of news, Internetters, Peaches is doing proper singing on her new record. What else, then? Well:

"Chilly Gonzales, one of my heroes, he’s produced a track. And this album should blow away her old fans and bring her 10 times more, I really hope it does that for her."

We think by this he means disturbingly fashionable ponces may find this too worryingly accessible. What this will mean, is that the rest of us can continue slash begin to appreciate Peaches for being a good, mad and rare pop thing. Even if she does wear Def Leppard boypants.

Anyway, Drums of Death, is it any good?

"I’ve heard three or four tracks fully mixed and mastered – well, fully mixed anyway," he says, "and they’re BRILLIANT. It’s just killer. It’s really good. It’s killer."

And that is your news. To sum up:

1. She's the nicest person, IN THE WORLD. It is official.
2. Her new album has hipster monkeys on knob-twiddling duties. Yesssss.
3. She has gone all Italo-disco.
4. She is doing proper singings.
5. Chilly Gonzales has done some bits on it.
6. It's brilliant, and it is killer x 2.
