Goodbye, My Friends...*

Proper news o'clock: we are going to stop updating the Lipster. There are a few things we'd like to post first, and some loose ends to tie up (do you want an interview with Adele that we've been sitting on for about a year? Go on then), but after the next couple of weeks, we will be no more.
Mostly it's for terribly boring reasons like being busy and moving around but we also feel like it would be sad to let it become a rubbish side project. We've all heard Mongrel.
So thank you to everyone who's stuck around, read us, helped us out, set up interviews for us, given us tracks, put up with questions about spaceships and desert islands, emailed us nice things, called us cunts, hosted us, fixed us when we've broked and been game for much pissing about. It's been more fun than either of us could possibly tell you.
And thank you, Alesha Dixon. Thank you.
*When you google "Goodbye lyrics", the Spice Girls come up third - THIRD - behind Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys. "?"
:((((((((((((((((((((
Never commented but always read. Sad to see you go. Hope it's on to better things. *looks for the rainbow in every storm etc.*

Sad times. In lots of ways I thought The Lipsters had the biggest chance of succeeding out of all the DiS child websites. Sorry to hear it. Dean.

Ladies, before you go perhaps you could be so good as to do a track-by-track, head-to-head review of some really important boy indie releases. I'm inspired by this awesome NME piece: http://www.nme.com/blog/index.php?blog=10&title=la_roux_vs_little_boots_first_listen_fac&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 I for one am really interested to know how the new Kasabian album matches up to the latest release from The Enemy.
Oooo yes i concur with the above comment! One for the road? Go on! i love the lipster in all its sillyness lots. xxxx
