Pop siblings Kylie and Dannii Minogue have recorded a song together, but this ain't no attempt at familial chart domination, oh no – it's for the theme tune to a new sitcom.

Yep, they'll be singing the theme tune to BBC2's new show Beautiful People. But they won't be writing the theme tune, for Benny and Bjorn have already done that - the song of choice is ABBA's The Winner Takes It All.

The show - which comes from the pen of Jonathan Harvey, who also created the tres amusant Beeb comedy Gimme Gimme Gimme - will star funny lady/actress/writer and general all round nice woman Meera Syal and will be based on the life story of rags-to-riches Brit designer Simon Doonan. Though presumably Meera won't be playing the part of Simon?
