Liam Gallagher breaks Times swear filter

By Rebecca Nicholson

Liam Gallagher swearing boxWhen a Times writer asked Liam Gallagher if he would ever consider selling his wedding photographs, he got the following response. Featuring 14 variants on the f-bomb. In nine sentences. Which the Times has to star out, meaning the end result looks like this:

Liam Gallagher Oasis swearing

In short, no he would not, thanks very much.

Other things what we learned about Liam - he doesn't like "ugly" Coldplay and Radiohead fans, or modern music:

"I’ve mellowed, but not in the sense of liking Radiohead or Coldplay. I don’t hate them. I don’t wish they had accidents. I think their fans are boring and ugly and they don’t look like they’re having a good time ... I play the Beatles, the Stones, the Kinks, Neil Young, the Pistols. Maybe a bit of the Roses. Don’t like modern bands. Topman music, innit?”

Can we please get an edition of that Grumpy Old Men programme featuring just Liam Gallagher? If he hates modern bands and celebrity sell-outs I can only imagine what he has to say about 5p pieces and shopping trolleys.
