Online pop Hollyoaks gets thumbs down

By Leonie Cooper

post-it noteFancy a Skins-esque, behind-the-scenes peek at the kerrazy world of the music industry with extra added competition features? What, you do? Well then, may we introduce you to Bebo's new online sitcom, The Secret World of Sam King, essentially a massive advert for Universal Records...

You see, our shaggy haired hero Sam King is a post boy at Universal, and jeez – you should see some of the scrapes he gets into. We've watched the preview episode so you don't have to, in which Sam accidentally mixes up the costumes of Universal acts Girls Aloud and the Jonas Brothers. Unsurprisingly it's said Jonas Bros, and not Girls Aloud who make a special guest appearance in the episode, but we've been promised that slightly more famous acts The Automatic, Sugababes, The Saturdays and Sam Sparro will all grace future episodes of the mini-programme.

Our thoughts? Never trust a fictional character who has a virtual post-it note stuck to their virtual noteboard that reads 'Snow Patrol gig next weekend - MUST blag tickets."
