What Is So Good About The Count & Sinden's Hardcore Girls?
We have spent a good portion of this morning listening to the JC remix of The Count & Sinden's Hardcore Girls, trying to work out what is so good about it. We had some thoughts:
Is it because it starts out like a Mis-Teeq song? As an opener, "All my ladies!" is a) brilliant and b) due a comeback.
Is it because when Rye Rye says "ardcore gels" she sounds like she's out of EastEnders even though she's from Baltimore?
It is because she then goes all ace lady rapper on us, and every time we hear it now we think of her dancing like this (yellow tights, blue T-shirt, mazin moves)?
It would be useful if we could find a stream of this remix anywhere online but 15 minutes of fruitless googling has led us down a road called defeat. So here is the original:
It's like this, only more betterer.
Will this do? http://www.iheartcomix.com/blog/franki/count-sinden-hardcore-girls-feat-rye-rye-don-rimini-remix
Good detective work, but it's not quite the right remix - it hasn't got the "ALL MY LAY-DEEZ" bit at the start. It is also very good though.
