Cadence Weapon, aka Rollie Pemberton, mixes the electronic future-funk of Spank Rock with the flow and intensity of a Def Jux artist, the B-Boy stance of the Old Skool and the emotions of a poet.
A former journalist, Edmonton-based Cadence Weapon has so far released two long-players - Breaking Kayfabe (2006/07) and Afterparty Babies (2008). Both are available in the UK via Big Dada.
